Welcome to the Mission Hills Town Council-The voice and vision for our community
The Mission Hills Town Council was established in 2007 to serve the residents of Mission Hills as a unified voice, and a way to communicate with our elected officials and each other about what concerns us as neighbors and residents of the Mission Hills area.
There is an elected Board of Trustees for the Council who serve two year terms. Everyone in the community can join the Town Council as a member. Membership fees are currently $25 annually per family, $100 for benefactors.
The Town Council holds quarterly Town Halls that are open to all residents. All meetings are held on the second Thursday of the month at 6 PM at Francis Parker School, Montecito at Randolph.
Community Plan Update
This year the City of San Diego will begin the process of updating the
20-year old Uptown Community Plan, which provides guidelines for
development projects in Mission Hills and the other neighborhoods that
make up the Uptown area. The July Town Hall meeting will include a
workshop to seek community input for a list of issues and topics for
Mission Hills. This list will include those topics which Mission
Hills community members wish to be considered during the update of the
Uptown Community Plan. A preliminary draft of the list is below. The
completed list will be provided to the Planning Department. Please
attend the July Town Hall meeting to provide your input to the list.
